Ed Jenkins not only exceeded our expectations when he redesigned his very popular Hairpin Lace Handmade Walnut Looms, he decided to take it up a notch!

This is the same great design and workmanship as the Walnut loom, only we are now able to offer the loom in limited-run exotic hardwoods. We debut this line of premium frames with a loom in purpleheart wood.

Canary Wood: An exotic wood with a yellow and orange heartwood. Canary Wood is hard, heavy and strong.

This loom incorporates brass bent-tip prongs and a brass screw-type tensioning system, allowing you to showcase the delicate detail of fine gauge wire as easily as you can showcase the beauty of modern bulky yarns. The frame has one of the widest range of adjustments we've seen - configurable from 1/2" to 6 1/8".

Purchase optional prongs as additional guides to provide maximum adjustability.

Prong width adjustable from .5" to 6.25"
2 brass "starter" prongs included - additional sets of prongs available for purchase.
Prongs provide approx. 10" of working length. Prong finials are slightly bent to accommodate smallest loom setting.
