Add a touch of handmade to gift-wrapping, or create a pretty little ornament using simple knitted square ornaments. Just knit stockinette squares and join them together using crochet stitches – a great way to add a little crochet to your repertoire!
We present a simple little mix-and-match set of instructions: first pick your square design, then choose your crocheted edging. Our 3 different ornaments represent only 3 possible combinations of 9 that you can make with these instructions.
We feature them in fingering weight embellished silk yarns:
- Snowflake : A classic mask silhouette, with a touch of two-tone and a bit more curve for exotic flair.
- Harlequin: The classic shape of this mask is worked in garter-stitch lace.
- Deco: This little project is a fast and fun introduction to hairpin lace.
