A lucet is used in cord making or braiding. The tool is believed to date back to the Medieval period, when it was utilized to create cords for clothing, or to hang useful items from the belt. Lucet cord is square, strong, and slightly springy.

Available in Walnut, Cherry, and Maple. - Cherry darkens with exposure to light and gradually turns to a rich red/brown. The Lucet is delivered in a clear package and the side that is exposed to light in the package will darken first.
