Knitting Kit - Not actual garment

This kit includes the yarn to create the sleeved Endless Knitted Cardi Shawl, and it also includes a downloadable version* of the pattern. We offer Studio Silk: a plied 100% silk yarn. We showcase the sleeved version of this design at left in Olive Tilli Tomas yarns. (Sleeveless version of this design is pictured in Studio Silk Galactic Blue - see Related Kits below for purchase information on sleeveless and Tilli Tomas kits.)

Part cardigan, part shawl: Endless ways to wear it. Work it with sleeves or without, with one yarn or with two. This is a straightforward knit, within the grasp of any knitter who’s finished a first scarf since it’s mostly just a simple rectangle with no seaming. The garment is cleverly constructed by merely folding the piece as directed and binding off with three needles.

It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s flattering to any body type and with just shawl pin or belt can be draped “right-way-up” or “upside-down” for countless looks. Don’t be surprised if this relaxing design becomes not only a favorite project to knit, but your favorite wearable too.

Recommended Tools

The following tools are suggested for this pattern and are NOT included with this kit. As with any knit/crochet pattern, you must select the size of your hook/needle based on your own personal gauge after making a gauge swatch. Links below are suggestions only:

US #5 / 3.75mm circular needles (40" for main body)
Additional US #5 knitting needle (for bind off)
US #4 / 3.5mm circular needles (40" for main body)
Additional US #4 knitting needles, circular or dpn, for working at small diameter in the round. (See our tutorials for Working in the Round.)
