Hairpin lace creates beautiful open fabrics that look complicated and impressive! The dirty little secret is that this technique is so simple, even a beginning crocheter can do it! Stitch Diva lead designer Jennifer Hansen will teach you the basics of creating a hairpin lace strip and breifly introduce several techniques you can use to join strips. We will take a look at example projects and discuss the techniques used to create them.

Take this class in conjunction with the afternoon session (Hairpin Lace Join Workshop) for a thorough introduction to this beautiful technique. Attendees of both classes receive a complimentary buffet lunch.

Date and Time of Class	Sunday, December 2 from 9 am to Noon
Location	This class is being held in a private home in the Santa Cruz mountains - just 10 minutes by car from downtown Los Gatos. There is no public transportation to this location, you will require your own car. Address will be provided as a download file upon enrollment.
Required Materials	Please bring the following required materials with you to the class: (Hairpin Lace Looms will be available to borrow / purchase.) Tapestry Needle Various Size Crochet Hooks Various Yarns of differing gauge from your stash including a smooth, non-variegated, worsted weight yarn

Class Registration Policy	Class sizes are limited so please sign up early! A minimum of 4 students is generally required to hold a class - if the minimum has not been met you will be contacted 72 hrs before class start and a full refund will be provided..
